My Pop Dave Russell, was Born and raised in Auckland,New Zealand all his life. My Pop had an okay homelife as his parents split, on one house he lived with 5 people and on the other he lived with 6.His hobby and passion was Rugby, growing up he would always enjoy a good game of rugby with his friends.In his day he heard about world news from the radio. Something you would be surprised to learn about my Pop would be that he used to walk miles to school barefoot! His earliest memory is when he drowned when he was 4 and his brother saved him. He remembers his parents as being extremely hard working and living on a farm. The comment he had on life now was that he still has a strong work ethic since growing up on a farm and that hard work is what helped him become successful today.
My Mum Lisa Russell, was born in Auckland,New Zealand. She grew up in a loving household with 4 family members including her mum, dad and sister. My mum was baptised anglican and went to sunday school. Growing up the impact this had on her life was making good friends throughout her time there. Her hobbies were athletics, Netball and riding horses. Mum heard about world news through the t.v and through the internet. One thing you would be suprised to learn about my mum would be that she represented Nz in athletic running when she was 12, she flew to Australia to compete in a relay. The earliest memory she has is moving to Australia for a few years when she was 4. My mum and her grandparents had a very close relationship and used to visit them frequently. Mum said life is different now because of all the new technology surrounding us.
My Nan Jill Russell, was born in Auckland, New Zealand. My Nana said her homelife was great as she grew up in a household as an only child and a loving mother and father. My Nana was christened younge and grew up beilving in the values. The hobbies she enjoys was and still is Animals, sewing and cooking especially with me! My Nan heard about world news through the radio. She said that something interesting about her was that she has a father in law who fought in world war 2. The earliest memory she has growing up, would be her feeding her puppies that her family shared aswell as spending quality time with her nana and going things like baking together. She remembers her parents as being extremely supportive and she had the most wonderfull grandparents. Nan said that life is different now because of all the new and advanced technology.
